First day back from Scotland - Pj day and a bit of Shrek.

My happy purchase: I never find lovely bambis!! so i was thrilled to find this one for £1.50 in my local charity shop - i hope it will be one of many.

My youngests 4th birthday at LegoLand.

 I love this Ikea cabinet, it used to be on the wall in the bathroom at our old house. There isn't really anywhere to put it on the wall in this house. My hubbie put it here, and i actually quite like it. I am thinking of painting the blue woodwork a vintage white/cream. I like neutral coloured bathrooms to relax in. What do you think?

Up to date!!

Finally i am up to date.

With a broken foot, it has been hard to take photos, as i have either been in the house, or not taken the camera out with me. So the last few weeks i have mainly taken pics of new things in the house:

For mine and my hubbies 30th we had a belated trip to Brighton with friends. Despite my broken foot (not great on a clubbing weekend!!) and terrible rain, we still all had fun:

New kitchen flooring. We found original tiles under the old lino, but they weren't in very good conditon:

I still got to go to the Take That concert. I was in a bit of pain and it was very hard work getting up the stairs but Wembley were really good. They took me in a wheelchair to and from my car and they moved me to the front of our block so i could see when everyone stands up:

This is what happens when you let your gay Brother in Law spend time with your youngest son:

I couldn't manage without this: Although i can use crutches, i don't have the strength to go far in them. I never realised how much they hurt your hands. And all my other muscles are hurting too. I used this all around Brighton last weekend - it was a godsend, but at the same time it has totally opened my eyes to how hard it is for people in wheelchairs. There are steps everywhere, not everywhere has downstairs toilets and doorways are really narrow:
